Former YAHOO! Mobile Executive Pamela Mead Joins Zannel, Mobile Industry’s First Instant Media Messaging Service



SAN FRANCISCO, Calif, November 5, 2007 - Zannel, Inc. (http://www.zannel.com), the mobile industry’s first Instant Media Messaging™ (IMM) service which allows people to micro-blog their lives and start real time conversations by sending video, picture and text updates from their mobile phones, has added a seasoned mobile heavyweight to their management team, Pamela Mead, a former executive at Yahoo! Mobile.

Mead brings more than 15 years of experience in the mobile industry to the San Francisco-based mobile social network as VP of User Experience, where she will work with CEO Adam Zbar and CTO Braxton Woodham to identify and define key product features and services.

Prior to joining Zannel, Inc., Mead worked with the Yahoo! Berkeley Research lab to understand consumer media capture and sharing behavior. Previously, she led the Yahoo! Mobile design and research team, who recently launched Yahoo! Go for Mobile and oneSearch for Mobile, which focuses on optimizing the information experience on mobile devices.

A frequent speaker at industry conferences, Mead has also worked on a variety of media and messaging applications at Palm, and spent six years as Strategist and Director of Interaction Design for MetaDesign, an international design consultancy, working with both start-ups and Fortune 500 companies to plan, design and deliver customer-centric products and services.
